In 1966, an LP of theme tune
cover versions by a group calling themselves The Revengers
was issued in the USA on Metro Records, a subsidiary of
MGM. Entitled Batman and Other Super Men (stereo
MS-565; mono M-565), this compilation included renditions
of Edwin Astley's main title themes for ITC series
Danger Man ('High Wire'), The Baron and The Saint
alongside familiar American genre fare of the period such
as Batman, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and
Our Man Flint. The recordings were also issued in
Canada and Japan.
